An interesting article that lists several cases in nature where a parasite actually alters the behavior of its host in order to propagate itself! For example, in rats they remove the natural fear of cat urine, so the rat will not avoid an area with cats, and thus be eaten so the parasite can spread.
Even more interestingly, some of these parasites are found in humans, and it appears there may be a link between the parasites and schizophrenia.
