Power source that turns physics on its head

This article in the Guardian discusses a new source of power which, if true, will elimate our dependance on oil (at least for energy) while also overturning quantum mechanics. According to the article, about every scientest who isn't a quantum physist says there is something real going on. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this will pan out.
