I wish I could be in Las Cruces, NM this weekend because the Wirefly X-Prize Cup fires up Friday and Saturday, October 20 - 21.
In addition to the way-cool Lunar Lander Challenge and Space Elevator Games, you can see multiple demonstrations of the Rocketbelt, static rocket engine firings, the Rocket Racing League Mark-1 Racer, plus rocket bikes, rocket trucks... I'm detecting a subtle theme to the proceedings.
Although I can't be there, at least I'll be able to watch some of the action via their webcast, which will feature both live coverage and on-demand highlights.
