So far, 2007 seems to be a year where everyone is a bit on edge. Yesterday there was the incident at the Port of Miami where three middle-eastern men are still being questioned after trying to enter the port without proper paperwork. This morning, sections of downtown Austin, Texas are shut down as the death of dozens of birds is being investigated. Now a number of trains and buildings in Manhattan are being evacuated due to a mysterious gas-like odor - although the Mayor assures everyone that they're sure it's not dangerous (although they don't know what it is or where it's coming from).
In other Apocalypse news, this weekend saw tornados, avalanches, record temperatures, and yet another playoff loss by the Cowboys.
