Rocket-powered X-Wing To Fly Oct 10

High-powered rocketry fanatics do some amazing things, but this has got to be the winner. The Tripoli San Diego rocket club has built a nearly full-scale (21 feet long, 19 foot wingspan) Star Wars X-Wing Fighter scheduled to be launched October 10th. Four solid fuel rocket motors will send the X-Wing soaring; it's moving wings will lock into "attack position" (how cool is that?); and it will be recovered by three large parachutes if it all holds together.

Good luck guys! I hope to see some video of a rocketing X-Wing very soon! Check out the link for more pictures and info.
