Getting Up To Speed with LOST

This is for all of you who gave up on LOST.

It's not too late. Come back.

About midway through last season, LOST finally hit its stride, achieveing just the right pace of storytelling, answering mysteries and posing new ones in a very satisfying way. Those of you who gave up because you suspected that even the writers didn't really know what was going on or how it would end, can safely return to the fold. The creators have stepped up the pace as well as the scope, as the drama now unfolds in the character's past, present and future. Including last night's premire, there are exactly 48 episodes left. The show is actually going somewhere, and you'll want to go along for the ride.

To get up to speed, I'd suggest watching the special episode "LOST: Past, Present and Future". It does a pretty good job of summarizing the first three seasons in about 45 minutes. Of course if you're really strapped for time you could watch the LOST 8 Minute Summary on YouTube. Then watch the season opener (also on ABC.com) and you're ready to go.

Enjoy!
