New Moon Buggy

Say hello to the "Chariot" - NASA's next generation lunar rover concept.

To meet the needs of a lunar outpost, it had to be faster, with more payload capacity and longer range than Apollo-era rovers. Note that astronauts drive Chariot while standing. You can also see that designers made use of the six-wheeled design that served the Mars rovers Spirit and Opportunity so well.
