Ares 1X Rocket Rolling Out to Pad 39B

I think there is little hope for the Ares 1 ever flying, so it's hard to get excited about the upcoming test flight of the "Ares 1X". It's little more than a standard Shuttle SRB with some borrowed avionics and a boilerplate fake second stage and fake Orion capsule. While there is definitely some data to be had, I can't help thinking that the primary purpose is for NASA to show the Administration that progress is being made in the Constellation program.
