NASA's First Steps To A Brighter Tomorrow

NASA is already implementing Obama's bold new vision,
The space agency granted $50 million each to five companies for research into novel engine system designs such as electric propulsion, new propellants made from non-toxic chemicals, and other areas.

NASA hopes the new space technologies will help the agency to "explore space as much as we can," said NASA spokeswoman Katherine K. Martin of NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.

Well there you have it. NASA hopes that new technologies will let them "explore space as much as they can". You know, someday.

This exciting new goal is expected to inspire untold dozens of students into careers in math, science and engineering. If the government will give them a student loan.
