My Father's Colt Model 1911

This handgun was manufactured in 191.  The gun was discovered after my father died. My brother thinks he bought it from my uncle, but we know nothing of its history. For the last few years it's just been sitting in my bedroom closet. It's not in great condition, but then it is 92 years old. I am pretty sure that everything on it is original.

I understand there is a collector's market for the the 1911, but I have no idea how much (or how little) this one is worth. I think I'll take it to the next gun show and find out.
