Rejoice In The Sun
From the 1972 sci-fi film "Silent Running" comes "Rejoice In The Sun", written by Peter Schickele, also known as "PDQ Bach". The movie was directed by Doug Turnbull shortly after he did the effects for "2001: A Space Odessey" but it's premise is too ridiculous for a suspension of disbelief. Earth's last forests exist in enormous domes on spacecraft orbiting Saturn, and their crews are ordered not only to abandon them, but to destroy them - with nukes.
