The only flaw of this stirring tribute to Shuttle Atlantis is the prosaic, government-issue title "STS-135 Ascent Imagery Highlights". It is in fact one of the finest compilations of Shuttle imagery ever compiled, with a stirring musical score, innovative editing and rare and dramatic footage. It demonstrates just what a magnificent accomplishment each Shuttle flight is. That the United States voluntarily chose to give up this capability, with no replacement on the horizon, is unfathomable. What will we throw away next?
