Alligator Attacks In Florida Kill 3 in 1 Week

Here at Astroroach we like to keep our readers informed on how the Apocalypse is coming along, so here is the latest sign.

In the past 58 years, there have been just 17 confirmed deadly encounters with Florida alligators. In the past seven days, there have been three. And these victims haven't just been killed - they've been eaten.

One of the victims was a Tennessee woman who was swimming in Juniper Run in the Ocala National Forest. Speaking as someone who has been swimming in Juniper Run in the Ocala National Forest in the past, I find this particularly disturbing.

From the Orlando Sentinel:
Officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said there have been an increasing number of alligator attacks for several reasons, including warmer weather and humans encroaching on alligator territory."The bottom line is, yes, the trend is increasing," said commission spokeswoman Joy Hill.
