Where The Candidates Stand On Space

To most people, space policy is a minor issue, and it is rarely addressed by candidates beyond general platitudes that they support a "vigorous" or a "robust" space program. However, I feel that space policy is very important - critical in fact - to the long term survival of humanity. It is only by moving into space that humanity can be assured of surviving global catastrophe.

Again, the candidates have said very little, but based on what is known, those who agree that space is vital for our future should definitely avoid voting for either Obama or Huckabee. More at The Space Review.

NOTE: The results of the Iowa Caucus are in, and who were the big winners? Obama and Huckabee. Things are not looking up for manned spaceflight.
