If you are targeted with this weapon, jumping into a foxhole, ducking behind a hill or the corner of a building will no longer protect you. The laser rangefinder will calculate the time to where you're hiding and transmits this to the round, which sets the fuse timer. When it's over your position, the round will explode. Nasty, but precise. It gives you more lethality than a grenade or mortar with much less collateral damage.
