NASA's 2012 Plans

Pretty slick presentation that puts a happy face on a bad situation. I'm disturbed by the emphasis on "Education", which is not part of NASA's charter. Why are they doing this? Looks like a money-laundering scheme to redirect NASA funds to the Dept. of Education.

If they want NASA to inspire new scientists and engineers, how about FLYING SPACECRAFT? NASA's singular lack of inspiring new projects is probably why DARPA created the 100 Year Starship Study.
